Trust

I use my blog to vent out my frustrations at times. It's a good release for me especially when strangers I don't even know can understand what is going on in my mind. No one likes to talk about their problems or things they don't want to deal with. I am so grateful to the internet to allow a person to talk about something that bothers them and still be able to heal especially when they are not that very social with people and doing normal things.

What I mean by normal is a 9-5 8 hour job(Typical day but you guys know they can stay overtime since they are by salary) making $40k+ a year. Bachelors degree or Master's, an Audi A4( other than a BMW 3 series), going to happy hour after work drinking, going to upscale bars, picking up men and women and flirting. Going to a sporting event and spending who knows what. Wow, that is an interesting social life.

The interesting about my life is the responsibility and trust my father had in me even when he was alive. Watching over mom and sis. Making sure I take care of their daily needs. These things people take for granted when they have their own family or the life they want.

Close knit family is the karma in this lifetime. The reason it took me awhile to move forward is the responsibility I have with family. It's not easy when you are in an Asian family that is dependent on you in some way since most Westernize countries frown upon that since "being independent" is the social norm.

The good part of all of this sacrifice and all is the progress I am making in my life. My coffee speaks for itself, my screenplays are being viewed, women are noticing me even with the beard. That's right guys, yoga does make you attractive inside and out. I am not just saying that for fun. You want others to take notice, do yoga for a whole year fully committed and you will see what I mean.

Finding opportunity in this country is not easy when your values and social norms does not match societies standards. People look at your weird and you are seen as boring or an outcast.

There are some things I am working on that will help me towards my goal. I know on the outside, you cannot see it. But trust me, in this day in age, it's not how young you are in making your dreams a reality right away, it's more of applying time tested true methods of success not just quick and easy type thing. Wisdom is the reward for staying in your goal to make things happen.

One day when I have my family, I will be ready to commit to my future wife and kids. This woman is around and probably has met me already. I will take my time to get to know her. It's not something you see in films and TV. There is something in how we communicate and my questions will let me know that she is the one worth pursuing.
