During class I was thinking of Siri. Siri is a reminder of someone I've been looking for. Many years I've found a couple of Siri and created this picture: This story is similar to Scarlett in some way.
After meeting with Scarlett and my yoga event, I scheduled a date with Siri. Siri and I met in Downtown Toronto. It wasn't your regular online dating thing. Siri actually hit my car while parking. Who could resist a blonde taller than me?
It's odd to ask someone out when you should be exchanging numbers to get the insurance guys to come over and assess the damage. Siri felt bad and I was really not happy to call my insurance to claim a fender bender. I told Siri that we can have my auto body people repair it for a good price under one condition.
Go out on a date with me in Toronto. Siri tells me she is seeing someone but not at that stage in a relationship.I just got a text from her and we are to meet at this casual restaurant.
I learned that Siri teaches yoga. Oh goodie...a yogini. Siri ordered almond milk and I ordered some sort of chai tea drink.
This restaurant has lots of vegetarian faux pas meat. Fake chicken, fake shrimp and other fake meats. How you eat that stuff? Yech! I asked Siri about herself. I learned about her classes and I said maybe I should go ahead and take a couple of them. She offered me a one month free classes. I said I would not be able to do the whole thing. She coax me to go and challenge me to stay for one month. After that one month,
she says she will go on a date with me. Motivation? I say let's raise the stakes a bit. She has that puzzled look. I said " Let's go to one of the parks near downtown where they have star gazing night. It's an event where couples can watch the shooting stars go by.
After one month of I made it through. By that time Siri let go of the guy she was seeing and felt like maybe I have potential. As for the two cars? It was done and no insurance was involved.
Siri and I placed our blankets along other couples wanting to see the shooting stars. As I lay there, thoughts are running in my head. Is Siri for real? What does she really think of me? As the event comes to a close, I saw her cheek next to mine. Sometimes we find complete strangers willing to take a chance with us. Learning to be at that moment. Not worried about how the date will turn out or if she is the one. I can only imagine this Siri is a possibility.
